Multi-Purpose Room

The Public Safety Building offers meeting space to groups in their Multi-Purpose Room(s).  An electronic sliding door divides the Multi-Purpose Room into sections.  Therefore, the Multi-Purpose Room(s) can be reserved as the Full Room or as half room spaces designated as Room A or Room B.

Multi-Purpose Room A offers

• kitchenette

• whiteboard

• large projection screen

• TV/VCR/DVD by request only

• podium

• windows

• a few extra feet of space

• seating for approximately 28 people if tables have chairs on 1 side only

• seating for approximately 56 people if tables have chairs on both sides

Multi-Purpose Room B offers

• kitchenette

• whiteboard

• TV/VCR/DVD by request only

• podium can be moved in from Room A by request

• seating for approximately 18 people if tables have chairs on 1 side only

• seating for approximately 36 people if tables have chairs on both sides

The Full Multi-Purpose Room offers

• the features available in both Room A and Room B

• seating for approximately 190 people if no tables are used

• seating for approximately 75 people if tables are used

To schedule an event

The Public Safety Multi-Purpose room's  primary function is to act as a Emergency Operation Center.  In the event that Delaware County incurs an emergency event, Delaware County will be compelled to cancel reservations for the duration of the emergency so that the room can be utilized as a command center.

Please Note: Effective January 1, 2012, the calendar will be cleared of all appointments (except for Public Safety-related events) and the maximum amount of lead time allowable for booking reservations will be restricted to 3 months into the future.
