Delaware County Sheriff's Deputies are investigating vandalism to equipment located in three Bloomville and South Kortright gravel banks that was reported early Friday morning, September 11th.

Delaware Bulldozing, Clark Companies and LaFever Excavating have reported equipment located in their County Route 18, Bloomville and Roses Brook Road, South Kortright, gravel banks was damaged between Thursday night and early Friday morning. The damage to the equipment included broken windows and attempts to set fire to the equipment.

Delaware County Sheriff's Deputies are also assisting the Delaware County Department of Emergency Services, Bloomville and Delhi Fire Departments in the investigation of two early Friday morning fires at seasonal residences located on Scotch Hill Road, Bloomville, and Elk Creek Road, Delhi.

At this time, it is not known if the incidents are related. Sheriff’s Deputies are asking that anyone that may have noticed any unusual or suspicious persons or vehicles in those areas between approximately 12:30 a.m. and 4:00 a.m. Friday morning to call (607) 746-2336.
