INTENSIVE CASE MANAGEMENT
Services for children and
youth often involve a number of agencies, such as Social Services,
Probation and of course, schools. Various significant other
individuals within and outside the family are typically interested
and involved in planning the best treatment. The Intensive Case
Manager serves ten children and youth and their families. These
individuals are enrolled for purposes of linkage with schools,
agencies and needed services which might otherwise not be
accomplished. The ICM also provides special advocacy and support in
arranging for needed services which may not be readily available. |
