Hospital
Tri-Town Regional Hospital (TRH) is open 24 hours a
day, seven days a week as an emergency care facility serving the
Tri-Town region, which includes the communities of Sidney, Unadilla and
Bainbridge. Affiliated with Bassett Healthcare, TRH offers a
physician-staffed emergency department with the capacity to treat six
patients at a time and an ability to hold some patients for observation
and treatment as necessary. Physicians at TRH also have the ability to
interface with board certified neurologists in Cooperstown through
telemedicine connections in order to provide for the rapid assessment
and treatment of stroke patients.
Tri-Town residents are encouraged to make use of the
hospital's modern laboratory and radiology services, which are open to
the public. Radiology services include X-ray, mammography and CT scans.
The TRH diagnostic laboratory offers a full complement of tests
including anemia screening, cholesterol, glucose, urinalysis, strep
testing and more. Finger stick blood tests are offered for patients on
blood thinning medication. Fifty full and part-time employees work at
Tri-Town Regional Hospital, including physicians, nurses, radiology and
laboratory technicians.
