A voter may register in person at the board of
elections or by mail. Mail registration applications are available at all
post offices, town clerk offices, or the board of elections. To

Applications
must be received by the Board of Elections no later than 10 days
before such election.
If you move within the county your change of address
must be received at least 10 days before the election.
You will receive an acknowledgment notice from the
board of elections upon approval of your application. This notice will
inform you of your election district and the location of your polling
place.
Changing Enrollment Amended §§5-304 & 5-604, Election Law
Provides that any change of enrollment after February fourteenth shall take effect seven days after the
succeeding June primary.
