Mock Crashes

Viewers can actually see what happens during a DWI crash. This is a well
rehearsed, professionally handled emergency response to a ‘DWI crash’. When
possible, we try to utilize kids from the school, usually those
participating in the local SADD chapter. There is a driver, passenger and
victim outside the vehicle. The scenario is played out as a call goes out to
911 to respond to a motor vehicle crash with possible alcohol involved. As
the first responders come on scene, viewers can see how quickly a crash
scene is controlled and assessed. Appropriate emergency personnel are
notified and the scene is played out exactly as it would if it were a real
life DWI crash.
