This annual festival celebrates all things related to dairy farming. It is held in June in the town of Meredith. It is held each year to help fill in funding gaps for the local Meridale Volunteer Fire Department. Since the festival is free it is hard to come up with an exact figure but when it began they had about 7,000 in attendance over the weekend.  It is now estimated that attendance is closer to 20,000! Besides cows, farm animals of every type, large and small, are on display. More than 100 vendors offer food, crafts, flea-market items and dairy product samples.
